On behalf of the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE) I would like to welcome you to this Italian site we have made to provide useful information about our presence at Alimentaria 2010 with the traditional Italian official pavilion.

Once again, our country’s participation will be among the most important international presence and promises to be a demonstration of the variety and quality that characterise Italian foods.

Quality Italian produce is unquestionably attracting more and more followers every year. Proof is the high level of recognition it is garnering among Spanish consumers. It is significant to note that despite the world economic downturn, exports from our country to Spain in this sector not only held steady in the period January-to-November 2009 but rose by nearly 3% over the same period the previous year.

As well as the information to be found on this site with regard to the Italian agrofood sector, I would like to draw your attention to the list of participating enterprises at the pavilion, which we wanted to offer you before the fair begins so you can prepare your visit.
